Our Behavior Technicians work as valued members of our therapy teams to provide individualized services to children with autism in a clinic-based setting, working under the direct supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Experience working as a behavior technician/RBT is preferred, but not required. Job Responsibilities:
- Implement client goals created by a BCBA in each child's individualized treatment plan to focus on social skills, living skills, and academic skills, using a 1:1 teaching format
- Complete data collection and session notes daily to track and show client progress
- Communicate professionally with client families to provide updates regarding progress
- Maintain client confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA laws and regulations
- Assist with creation of therapy materials
- Attend team meetings and on-going trainings, as necessary
- Other related duties as assigned or requested
Job Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Registered Behavior Technician Certification issued by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board, or the ability to acquire certification within 45 days of hire date
- Prior experience working with children with disabilities is preferred, but not required
- Knowledge and understanding of HIPAA practices and adherence to the policies
- Must have the ability to bend, kneel, crouch, lift up to 50 lbs and be comfortable spending time on your feet
- Strong written and oral communication along with strong interpersonal skills
