Daybreak Treatment Solutions is seeking compassionate, reliable and hard working registered nurses at our Detox and Inpatient- Drug and Alcohol Detoxification Center in West Palm Beach FL.

Purpose: The function of the Registered Nurse is to deliver nursing care to patients under the direction of the director of nursing and the medical director. The registered nurse’s goal is to monitor clients during the treatment process while making reasonable accommodations and coordinating care with all areas of the organization to ensure clients are safe and as comfortable as possible during their stay.

Qualifications: Active Florida RN license, with a Bachelor of Science degree or Associates degree in Nursing or have graduated from an accredited and approved nursing program. Psychiatric or detox nursing experience preferred, position open to motivated new graduates nurses.

Shift available:

1. Full Time Nights - Friday, Saturday, Wednesday: 7a-7p

2. Part Time Nights - Monday: 7p-7a

Pay between: $35-$40 plus night and weekend shift differentials

Duties include:

• Delivers nursing care to patients, monitors patients during detox process.
• Coordinates patient care to ensure clients are safe and comfortable.
• Documents medical information in patient charts using electronic medical records. Administers patient medication, while maintaining proper documentation. Administers narcotics per doctor orders and protocols.
• Conducts Nursing assessments to new patients and ongoing nursing monitoring and assessments to existing patients.
• Facilitates nursing groups, coordinates client care with members of the team.
