Job description
The Registered Nurse performs a comprehensive assessment of patient and family needs to deliver and coordinate services throughout the continuum of care. The Nurse delivers nursing care as defined by the Kansas Nurse Practice Act and the policies and procedures of SFHC. The Nurse works under the supervision of the physician and the Clinic manager or designee.

Our St. Francis hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse. We are looking for your experience, knowledge and patient care skills in our Heart & Vascular Clinic.
The UKHS - St. Francis Campus is fully accredited by the Joint Commission. We also have the following notable accreditations and certifications:
- Advanced Primary Stroke Center Certification
- Inpatient Rehab Stroke Certification
- Chest Pain Accreditation, by the Society of Cardiovascular Patient Care
- Breast Imaging Center of Excellence, by the American College of Radiology
- (CoC) Accreditation
The overall direction and supervision of all patient care during his/her shift.
Accountable for self and self-actions:
Engages in self-evaluation of practice and takes action to improve knowledge and skills.
A graduate of an accredited nursing school.
Must maintain a current certification in BLS.
Demonstrated leadership abilities; able to work under stressful situations.
Possesses good oral and written communication skills.
A demonstrated ability in interpersonal relationships which enhances communication, promotes conflict resolutions, and facilitates staff development.
Desirable characteristics include at least one year of experience as an R.N., preferably in the area of application.
Must be able to follow directions and perform work according to department standards when no directions are given.
Must be emotionally mature and able to function effectively under stress.
Must possess a current Kansas License as a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse.
Basic computer skills.
Familiar with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel) and EPIC software; preferred
