The Registered Nurse
performs a comprehensive assessment of patient and family needs to deliver and coordinate services throughout the continuum of care. The Nurse delivers nursing care as defined by the Kansas Nurse Practice Act and the policies and procedures of SFHC. The Nurse works under the supervision of the physician and the Clinic manager or designee.

Our St. Francis hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse. We are looking for your experience, knowledge and patient care skills in our Heart & Vascular Clinic.

Responsibilities:
RN duties include:

The overall direction and supervision of all patient care during his/her shift.
Demonstrates the knowledge and skill to carry out the nursing process when providing patient care.
Satisfies the established standards of the nursing practice.
Supervises and delegates patient care tasks to LVN/LPN or CNA and other patient care team members.
Promotes teamwork with physicians and personnel of other departments.
Perform other duties as assigned

Accountable for self and self-actions:

Engages in self-evaluation of practice and takes action to improve knowledge and skills.
Promotes consensus building and applies techniques of conflict resolution and conduct improvement.
Retains accountability for quality of care given to the patient.
Qualifications:
Requirements:


A graduate of an accredited nursing school.

Must maintain a current certification in BLS.

Demonstrated leadership abilities; able to work under stressful situations.

Possesses good oral and written communication skills.

A demonstrated ability in interpersonal relationships which enhances communication, promotes conflict resolutions, and facilitates staff development.

Desirable characteristics include at least one year of experience as an R.N., preferably in the area of application.

Must be able to follow directions and perform work according to department standards when no directions are given.

Must be emotionally mature and able to function effectively under stress.

Must possess a current Kansas License as a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse.

Basic computer skills.

Familiar with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel) and EPIC software; preferred
