Osteopathic Family Wellness Center in Orlando, FL is looking for one registration data entry to join our 15 person strong team. We are located on 5555 East Michigan St Suite 103. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter, motivated, and engaged.

Must be bi-lingual (English and Spanish)

The Registration Data Entry Rep will be responsible for greeting and registering patients, as well as verifying all patient demographic information and insurance details. You will also generate patient statements. Additionally, you will collect co-pays, co-insurances, and deductibles, answer calls, and schedule appointments. Registration Data Entry reps will be responsible for 100% data entry, scheduling patient appointments per scheduling rules, and obtain patients' authorization for procedures.

This is a Full-Time Position Monday thru Friday 8am - 5pm

Requirements:
Must be bi-lingual (English and Spanish)

Some previous billing experience in: billing, coding, reimbursement, collections or AR also need to understand and explain an EOB to patients.

Minimum of a high school diploma. An associates degree is preferred.

Have a good understanding of basic medical terminology and how insurance works.

Be able to communicate effectively (both in written and verbal form)

Proficient with basic computer programs such as the Microsoft Office suite, EHR, and Practice Management.

Be able to work well on your own, as well as in a team setting.

Excellent/Superior interpersonal and customer service skills.

Patient Registration Tasks

Greet visitors, ascertain purpose of visit, and direct them to appropriate staff or department.

Verifying Insurance eligibility to determine co-pay, co-insurance, deductible. Collect balances.

Assess method of payment for services, initiate processing, may refer to specialist for financial options.

Perform duties including explaining various forms such as patient rights, medical releases, and insurance.
