Role: MES Interface Engineer
Location: Remote with travel to site, Muskegon Michigan and/or Uppsala Sweden as-needed.

Design, analysis, integration of MES, preferably in Werum PAS-X

The MES Interface Engineer is responsible for leading the effort to translate a manufacturing process into a configured and tested MBR in an MES system.

Review MES Software design; Interface to other systems (configuration) (ERP, OSIPI, LIMs Scales); IQ/OQ support; SAT/FAT witnessing.

The MES Consultant provides specialist technical expertise to the project team. They advise client on the best available technology and work to provide the best technical solution for the project based on previous experience and the project requirements.

The MES Consultant responsibilities include:

Technical leadership for a range of technologies across one or more projects and provide a focal point of contact for technical advice to project teams and pre-sales

Advice on best practices on previous client projects that resulted in savings

Alert the project teams to technical risks and deviations from authorized procedures or internal/external standards

Lead development of Software Design Specification / Software Module Design Specification

Lead development of Master Batch Record or recipe design

Had an understanding of the manufacturing processes and be capable of mapping these processes

To participate in internal design reviews as necessary

To provide specialist knowledge to clients or internally to other project team members. This includes areas such as statistical analysis, modelling, interfacing, database design, and business system integration.

To visit the client sites to perform concept studies, Contractor Value Propositions, design studies and training as necessary

Familiarity with the client Manufacturing System Strategy

The MES Consultant attributes include:

Recognized industry expertise in specific areas (modelling, simulation, integration, analysis, architecture)

Experienced in, and able to, optimize the benefits of the Contractor’s solutions,

Broad industry knowledge and experience

Typically over 10 years relevant industry experience The Senior MES Engineer attributes include:

• Business analyst/process modeling experience in the pharmaceutical/biopharmaceutical environment.
• Excellent communication skills (written, oral, and presentation).

Job Type: Contract

Salary: $80.00 - $90.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
