AWESOME INC, a creative studio in Atlanta, GA, is currently seeking Background Designers to join our crew on the upcoming 2D series Ren & Stimpy.
Ideal candidates are Georgia-based, however opportunities are available for remote artists. Position is full-time with benefits. Length of employment will be for the duration of the production season; approximately 6 months to 1 year.
Qualifications
You will need to…
- Be proficient in digital design software (ToonBoom and/or Adobe Creative Suite).
- Possess strong drawing & painting skills with excellent sense of color.
- Previous experience in a broadcast animation environment and knowledge of a studio production pipeline is highly valued.
Responsibilities
You may find yourself…
- Concepting and designing exterior and interior environments in the artistic style of the show, with a high competency in logic, perspective & lighting.
- Creating multiple design variations and revisions based on internal & external feedback.
- Designing props and vehicles with a file structure suitable for animation.

- Be deadline-driven, able to handle quick turnarounds.
- Be comfortable working in a collaborative team environment, willing to take and follow direction.
- Possess rigid file management and organizational skills.
