Rental Agent – Grip & Lighting – Quixote Studios

The Rental Agent position is responsible for maintaining and strengthening existing client relationships while also expanding Quixote's customer base through strategic sales efforts. The Rental Agent must stay well-informed of all opportunities in any given market and have a thorough knowledge of all pertinent information related to our business and the customers we serve.

Rental Agent - G&L duties include, but are not limited to, the following*:

Maintain confidentiality in all aspects of client, staff, and studio information

• Answer incoming calls professionally and provide accurate information
• Enter orders/quotes into RW
• Manage orders from pull list to return, including sub rentals
• Ensure short-list is accurate and includes alternative gear
• Create stock transfers with other facilities
• Request equipment from sub-vendors when necessary
• Create / Manage purchase orders for sub rentals from pick up to return.
• Ensure the sub rental quotes are accurate and match the billing to customer
• Ensure all clients have current and valid insurance and the rental agreement on file
• Create deals/input client info into RW
• Confirm all orders have been returned on the agreed upon return date
• Ensure all orders are closed at the end of each month with accounting
• Create run sheets for deliveries and pickups
• Develop partnerships with new clients to obtain repeat or exclusive business
• Participate in equipment inventory once annually
• Be available by phone and email outside of normal business hours to assist our clients with questions, requests, or inquiries
• Adhere to company policies and procedures

Skills & Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years Grip & Lighting experience
• Minimum 2 years customer service experience
• High school diploma or equivalent education and related experience
• Knowledge of Rental Works software or ability to learn software quickly
• Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with management, clients, and team members
• Ability to work 24/7 and overtime as necessary
• Ability to perform all duties in a safe manner and in alignment with Company policies and procedures
• Attentive to details - accurate and thorough
• Ability to work independently, safely, and efficiently
• Ability to successfully pass a criminal background check
• This position requires you to be fully vaccinated against Covid-19
