Position Summary: Tidal Basin is seeking an experienced Reporting Manager for an upcoming large-scale, state-funded, grants management program.


The objective of the Reporting Manager is to build and maintain reports that track and measure program progress and assist program staff with assistance requests for information. The Reporting Manager will also manage the responsibilities of the Reporting Analysts.


Job Duties and Responsibilities include:

Specific duties may include:

  • Design, develop, and maintain tracking mechanisms and reporting templates
  • Develop periodic or ad hoc reports/dashboards as requested by program management.
  • Maintain and adjust grants management tools for required employee performance metrics.
  • Analyze program performance and staff management data.
  • Maintain expert level understanding of program database and assist program staff and partners with support requests.
  • Coordinate with technology providers to improve system performance.
  • Manage responsibilities of the Reporting Analysts.
  • Develop management tools for program targeting and performance reporting.
  • Write formal staff reports that are clear, concise, and easily understood.
  • Present program/project ideas and coordinate with management and staff.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

  • Demonstrated case management expertise
  • Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
  • Ability to work independently and pro-actively identify key steps to complete requested client outcomes.
  • Excellent client relations and an understanding of local, state, and federal government structure
  • Experience working with federal grant-funded programs

Required Education and Experience:

  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree in relevant field; AND,
  • 5+ years in data analytics, reporting, or grant-funded or government programs or related fields
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite
  • Proficiency in data management and reporting software is a plus
  • Experience managing a team of professionals is required
