Research Analyst/Specialist - Post Acquisition, Riverdale, MD
SUMMARY
Cherokee Nation Strategic Programs (CNSP) is seeking exceptionally qualified individuals to serve as Research Analysts – Post Acquisition to join the Supply Chain Risk Management Team in support of our government client. The Research Analyst – Post Acquisition conducts presentations as well as fact-finding, analysis and development of recommendations documented in reports covering process improvement, vulnerabilities, mitigations, potential new risks, and related areas.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Includes the following:

  • Conduct in-depth reviews of critical processes of the supply chain to ensure SCRM-relevant internal controls are incorporated into the processes.
  • Support development and execution of post-acquisition projects to include processes, documentation, training, and policies necessary to identify then mitigate risks to the customer supply chain from delivery to retirement
  • Serve as action officers and interact with the client’s global supply chain personnel
  • Assist in conducting in-depth reviews of critical processes of the supply chain to identify existing SCRM-relevant internal controls and collaborate with SCRM partners to incorporate needed internal controls into the processes
  • Respond to alerts of potential new risks to the supply chain and collaborate with SCRM partners to mitigate the potential risk
  • Conduct presentations as well as fact-finding, analysis and development of recommendations documented in reports covering SCRM process improvement, vulnerabilities, mitigations, potential new risks, and related areas
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum of five (5) years of professional experience in logistics, security, intelligence, program management, financial management, or business
  • Experience planning, researching, writing, coordinating and publishing All-Source strategic products

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Knowledge of DoD processes and terminology
  • Proficiency using Microsoft Office tools.
  • Demonstrates ability to work independently with minimal oversight and direction.
  • Active Top Secret (TS) with SCI security clearance with the ability to obtain a CI polygraph

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s Degree

WORK ENVIRONMENT

  • Work is primarily performed in a climate-controlled office environment.

TEMPORARY NOTE :
