Job description
This position will have responsibility for clinical assessment and administrative duties related to the ADRC Clinical Core repetitive head impact (RHI) cohort. As part of that, the RA will be responsible for preparing for subject study visits, assessment of participants, liasing with partners in other cores/CLF, IRB submissions, data entry.
- Perform and score neuropsychological testing and administer research questionnaires to clinical core participants. (35%)
- Liason with members of the Outreach, Recruitment and Engagement Core, George Washington University (as part of a new grant) and representatives from the Concussion Legacy Foundation to promote clinical core activities as they related to the RHI and non-RHI Cohort. (15%)
- Assist with regulatory documents, consent forms, and completing IRB submissions. Adheres to legal, professional and ethical codes with respect to confidentiality and privacy. Responsible for obtaining and maintaining all necessary study certifications, including Human Subject Protections, Good Clinical Practice, Shipping Biological Samples, etc. (15%)
- Responsible for scheduling and confirming visits within assigned time frame for research participants. (15%)
- Assist with data entry for research protocols. Reviews data for accuracy and completeness prior to entry into electronic data capture systems. (10%)
- Performs miscellaneous administrative duties such as answering phones, picking up and delivering mail, storing and distributing office supplies, handling faxes, scanning, photocopying, collating materials, filing, maintaining the updates of policy manuals, managing study staff certifications and licenses, maintaining databases, taking notes at meetings, distributing meeting minutes, etc. (10%)
Required Skills
Bachelor's degree with 1-3 years of experience required.
