General Duties and Responsibilities – Install Helper (included, but not limited to):
Assisting with insulation of HVAC systems on commercial and residential properties- Operating a variety of hand and power tools needed for HVAC insulation
- Assisting lead installer with residential duct work
- Following instructions for picking up and delivering parts, tools, materials, and supplies to and from job site
- Ensuring all tools, materials, and equipment are in good working order
- Coordinating with team members to provide excellent customer service
- Assisting lead installer with job and truck stock
Education/Experience/Skills of an Install Helper:
Ability to crouch, bent, or crawl for long periods of time- Good communication and customer service skills
- Willing to work in all types of weather conditions
- Must be able to work overtime and weekends as necessary
- Ability to follow instructions and work with others
Licenses or Certifications Required of an Install Helper:
Valid TN Driver’s License and insurability requirements may apply- Pre-employment drug test required
- Well groomed, neat appearance
- Lift up to 75 pounds; be able to push, pull, carry or maneuver heavier items (with additional manpower or appropriate devices); carry ladders; work from heights, work in small crawl spaces.
- Observe all company procedures and safety rules
- Maintain accurate time records and send to payroll when required
