Home State Bank is hiring a Residential Mortgage Regional Manager to oversee the growth of our retail mortgage business in Florida.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES
The Regional Manager is directly responsible for developing and managing residential mortgage production within the target market.

• Develop and implement recruiting strategies consistent with corporate growth targets.
• Implement competitive compensation programs
• Develop pricing strategies appropriate for the target market, consistent with market competition and corporate profitability goals
• Manage and develop loan officers and branches within the target market
• Create budgets and long-term business strategies in partnership with Senior Management
• Assist Branch Managers to ensure profitability and performance goals are achieved
• Review financial and operational performance with Branch Managers and Senior Management. Implement adjustments where appropriate.
• Manage expenses
• Provide a high level of leadership. Work closely with all functional areas to ensure maximum customer satisfaction and operational performance.

This is a P & L level position, with the opportunity to share in the financial success of the organization and the markets being developed. This position reports directly to the Division Senior Vice President. As a member of the Senior Management Team, this position will have a voice in the operation of the overall mortgage division.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred
• Minimum five years production management experience
• A prove track record of recruiting, hiring, developing and retaining professional loan officers
• Experience managing against a P & L
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work independently
• Proven leadership skills
