Position Summary
Provide supervision, direction and assistance to assigned residential homes
Responsibilities:
Support, coach and provide training for new Direct Support Staff in ITSP, ISP, Therapy Plans, Adaptive equipment it's use and maintenance, Mock fire drills, Med observation check offs as well as training on how to do proper documentation in accordance with DIDD training processes.
The Residential Site Manager is the designated trainer on all plans for the homes assigned and responsible of making sure that trainings are in the home and office. The RSM is also responsible for maintaining weekly/monthly schedules of staff that are assigned in his/her residential homes and ensure adequate staffing is maintained to meet all contractual agreements. The RSM must complete daily documentation reviews, including but not limited to: Learning logs, MAR's, Shift changes, daily/monthly health oversite documentation, weekly summaries, and other documents as assigned. Ensure home books are in order, up to date, and ensuring all appropriate documentation forms are in the home.
Must maintain a good working relationship with the families, conservators, ISC's and other entities involved in the person's supported life. Understand and always follow Incident Management guidelines. Perform site inspections and unannounced supervision visits as assigned. Ensure follow ups are completed within 1 week of identifying concerns in the home. Report and follow up on maintenance issues that may arise in the home. Promote and assist with community inclusion activities. Required to work in shift and on call as well as other duties assigned.
Minimum Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED required; Associates Degree or Medical Health Care Certificate preferred.
Valid driver’s license; with good driving record and your own transportation plus
Vehicle Insurance
National Background Check Clearance and DIDD Abuse and Neglect Clearance
CPR and First Aid certification
Medication Administration Certification
Must be willing and able to submit to random drug testing throughout employment with good results.
Crisis Prevention and Intervention Training
1 yr. experience working with IDD preferred. We offer a complete Training Program.
Physical Requirements: Ability to lift at least 50 lbs., Moving, lifting, or transferring of person supported may involve lifting of or up to 100 lbs.
