Job description
Title: Resiliency Project Coordinator
Reports to: Sr. Director, Education
Status: Non-Regular Part-Time (20 hrs) / Hourly / Non-Exempt / Grant-Funded (ends September 2024)
Purpose of position: To support the implementation of two grants which fund trauma informed and resiliency building trainings, workshops and other projects through Resilient Lehigh Valley.
2022-2023 Accountabilities:
1. Coordinate trainings and workshops on trauma informed care, resiliency and social-emotional wellness funded through a PA Department of Community and Economic Development grant (40%)
2. Coordinate trainings and workshops on traumatic (toxic) stress, resiliency and self care for older adults and their family caretakers through United Way supported senior hubs (25%)
3. Provide ongoing project management for a regional Handle With Care initiative (quarterly data collection, outreach to police departments and schools, annual convenings) (25%)
4. Provide support select Resilient Lehigh Valley committees and action teams (10%)
QUALIFICATIONS TO PERFORM JOB SUCCESSFULLY
Work Experience and/or Education
- 3-5 years of professional work experience in a range of the following: education, criminal justice, health and human services in an administrative, data management or project management capacity. Relevant experience in other sectors or related education considered in lieu of work experience.
Skills
- Ability to enter, manage and analyze data
- Solid and proven project management skills
- Advanced user of Microsoft Excel
- Demonstrates an understanding of the dynamics of equity and inclusion in community change.
- Understanding of and commitment to the mission, vision, and goals of United Way
- Staff members who drive a vehicle on UWGLV business must provide proof of a valid driver’s license and current automobile insurance.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills including presentations to groups

Benefits Package
In addition to the base pay and annual merit increases this position is eligible for our org-wide performance based annual bonus package which is typically 1%-3% of base pay. At 20 hours per week this position is not eligible for any other benefits except those required by law. This position can be done remotely for 30% of the schedule. The hours/schedule of work is flexible and may require attendance at specific days/times for meeting attendance.
