Reports to: In Store Manager

Mission:

As a member of our Retail Design team, you will be leading the design and execution of store commercial displays, optimizing space and product exhibition to strengthen our brands.

The position belongs to the Travel Retail Americas business unit, responsible for stores located in airports and borders throughout the Americas.

Our brand portfolio includes owned brands as Carolina Herrera, Paco Rabanne, Jean Paul Gaultier, Dries Van Noten, Nina Ricci, Byredo, Penhaligon’s, L’Artisan Parfumeur, Kama Ayurveda and Loto del Sur; licenses of Christian Louboutin and Comme des Garçons Parfums and Lifestyle fragrances, among them Antonio Banderas, Adolfo Dominguez, and Benetton.

Functions and Responsibilities:

• Work with brand guidelines to create POS exhibitions, using AutoCAD, Sketch-up and Photoshop to create designs and technical drawings/renders.
• Manage vendor relationship ensuring high quality installations and costs optimization. When needed, will negotiate quotations and other aspects of the project with suppliers.
• Lead projects in communication with internal teams and vendors until implementation.
• Responsible for budget management and control.
• Solve technical challenges (internally with the HQ team and externally with the supplier) and implementation logistics (deliveries, orders).
• Guarantee proper maintenance of existing point of sales.
• Support the execution of visual merchandising strategy.
• Works in collaboration with the team to assess performance of the implemented projects.
• Travel to stores in the Americas will be required sporadically.

Requirements:

• Degree in Architecture, Interior Design or Industrial Design
• Aesthetic sensibility to work with luxury brands.
• Design software knowledge (AutoCAD, Adobe Creative suite, Sketchup).
• +2 years’ experience in technical drawing.
• Excellent command of English, Spanish will be considered a plus.
• Oriented to teamwork and collaboration.
• Autonomous, pragmatic, and proactive.
