Goodwill Industries of Greater Cleveland & East Central Ohio is currently hiring for a Retail Warehouse Lead to join our salvage team at our Canton warehouse.

In this role, you will be responsible for the handling and processing of incoming donations, inventory control, and supporting the salvage workforce.

Essential Functions:

• Works collaboratively with salvage workforce and leadership to ensure the salvage operations meet the budgeted expense-to-revenue ratios.
• Supports management with employee time records, attendance, and duty assignments.
• Opens and closes aftermarket operations.
• Ensures the proper handling and processing of incoming and outgoing donations.
• Maintain a positive, friendly attitude and provide excellent customer service.
• Assists in inventory control and rotation of apparel and hard goods.
• Completes daily production activity reports to ensure statistical counts are completed accurately and timely.
• Ensures a neat, clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Supports managers with site inspections, incident/accident reports, team meetings, supply needs, schedules, and work requests.
• Provides training/hands-on work experience for employees through direct demonstration and instructions.
• Ensures adherence to agency safety/security policies, procedures, and practices.
• Other duties as assigned.

Specific Experience/Skills/Abilities:

• Tow motor experience required.
• Ability to judge distance, speed, and movement of objects.
• Ability to monitor indicators to make sure a machine is working properly.
• Ability to see details at close range (within a few feet of the observer), and adequate distance to guide the parking of vehicles.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
