Job description
The Rework Coordinator is responsible for ensuring timely resolution of rework orders and receiving inspection of incoming product. You also coordinate with the following departments; warehouse, inventory, engineers, and purchasing personnel for best practices surrounding effective corrective measures in non-conformance investigations. In this role, you coordinate and monitor the re-labeling and re-boxing of product from beginning to end, in an effort to meet customer expectations and for loss control purposes. The Rework Coordinator organizes and manages Quality Hold areas to reduce damage to inventory and expedite the process of moving un-shippable product into useable inventory. You partner with Quality Assurance to ensure accuracy of re-labeled and re-boxed items. The position will also be responsible for completing incoming inspection of product, creating/modifying incoming inspection plans, entering quality information into the computer system, and writing MRB’s for non-conforming product.
Available Hours:
- 1st Shift - 7:00am to 3:30pm (Monday thru Friday) - $18.00 to $20.00/hour DOQ
Qualifications:
- Communicate effectively with co-workers and management.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as Picture Packet, IOP, and procedure manual and safety rules.
- Fill out general communication paperwork in written form legibly so as to be understood.
- Read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, governmental regulations and professional drawings.
- Present information to and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
- Read instruments such as gauges and indicators on equipment (on the job training may be required).
- Apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed, but non-engaging, written and oral instructions.
- Define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
- Apply good judgment in recognizing scope of authority.
- A qualified candidate must possess the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
- Apply abstract concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
