JOB TITLE: Room Attendant
REPORTS TO: Executive Housekeeper / Front Office Manager/ General Manager
POSITION SUMMARY:
Perform routine duties in cleaning and servicing of guest rooms and bathrooms under supervision of the Executive Housekeeper. Room attendant promotes a positive image of the property to guests and must be pleasant, honest and friendly. Be able to address guest requests and problems.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Enters and prepares the room for cleaning.
- Makes bed according to brand standards.
- Dusts the room and furniture and ensures carpets are clean and free of debris.
- Replenishes guestroom and bath supplies where needed.
- Cleans the bathroom, vanities, and other surfaces with appropriate equipment to ensure a sanitary environment.
- Attends to guest calls, requests, and complaints in the area assigned.
- Enter guestrooms for cleaning and providing turndown services as per requirement.
- Responsible for following the standard operating procedures.
- Responsible for achieving and exceeding guest satisfaction.
- Can work with other hotel departments, such as maintenance and front desk, to spot room deficiencies and problems and report them to supervisors.
PREREQUISITES:
Physical mobility and stamina required. Ability to follow instruction, detail-oriented, professional attitude and ability to work independently.
