Job Title: Routing Specialist Supervisor: Operational Excellence Manager

Job Summary

A Routing Specialist is responsible for the routing for a designated fleet/region. It is their primary function to effectively, and efficiently, maximize the capabilities of our operational assets and drivers.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Daily Responsibility for routing service stops through work order audit, and order volume from customer service / sales.
• Management /updating service routes for the service drivers on a daily basis.
• Create and maintain synergies with operations to maintain route density and operational efficiencies.
• Partner with Operations to assist in driver training of onboard apps used with daily routes.
• Manually creating routing efficiencies to adhere to customer needs, management of “one off” occurrences writhing route development
• Responsible for management of daily reporting from the locations, maintaining of asset reports, and data point deemed important.

Qualifications

• Must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced work environment
• Must be professional, self-motivated and possess strong computer skills
• Ability to learn a new system quickly
• Mapping and service routing software experience a plus
• Experience within load planning and/or route based transportation a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
