The Sales Analyst position is a brand new position for our finance team at Freebirds World Burrito and is based in Austin, TX. The ideal candidate will use their passion for data to connect the dots between sales forecasting, calculating ROI on a large variety of company objectives and supporting a best-in-class loyalty platform and so much more!

We run on an EOS platform, where everyone is working towards the same goals. All positions focus on key quarterly objectives and accountabilities. The main accountabilities for this job are:

1. Reporting and distributing sales data

2. Reporting marketing/loyalty data

3. Supporting internal departments

Responsibilities

• Compiling, analyzing, and reporting sales data across multiple channels.
• Monitoring and analyzing competitive activity, customer, and market trends.
• Build an in depth understanding into what works to keep loyalty members engaged, what doesn’t, and how initiatives translate into ROI.
• Maintain and improve upon reporting we pull from our loyalty platform.
• Act as data liaison to multiple departments including Operations, Marketing, Catering and Guest experience.
• Maintain recurring reporting to our operators and to other departments at the Restaurant Support Center (RSC).
• Excel reporting.
• Reporting in DOMO (our BI platform).

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Economics, Mathematics, Finance, or a quantitative/related field
• Experience in customer-facing retail or food service
• Advanced in Excel (able to do a pivot table, write a macro, and make an Excel report clear to someone who doesn’t stare at spreadsheets all day)
• Familiar with SQL
• DOMO or other BI tools such as Tableau
• Basic to moderate familiarity with statistics
• Proven ability to explain the data being analyzed (verbally, in writing, and visually)
• Familiarity with SQL, Python or R is a plus
