This is an entry level position focused on the high technology sector that provides for a long-term career in strategic technology sales at the executive level.
The Technology Services Industry Association (TSIA) is a research association that helps technology and services organizations both large and small grow and advance by providing the world’s largest vault of non-public data, an exceptional peer networking community and enables companies to achieve unparalleled business outcomes. Scope of Responsibilities
This TSIA sales position (sales analyst), is responsible for researching target companies to identify specific decision makers and key executives who are responsible and accountable for service lines of business. This position will be focused on creating campaign lists, analyzing companies, sourcing key contacts, understanding the business hierarchy of organizations, analyzing new markets and data entry in our CRM system. This position prepares you for a promotion to a quota carrying sales position.
In this role, you will build the necessary skills to position yourself for a career in sales. Through our structured training, we will help you learn sales methodologies, sales tactics, call strategies, and use role-play tactics so that you can eventually take the next step into a quota carrying sales position. You will also learn the latest technology trends that are driving new business models in technology, specifically around software and services. You will learn how to effectively use business prospecting tools and the latest technology that serves the new generation of sales professionals.

A successful candidate has a passion for sales and seeks to advance their career as such. An analytic and strategic thinker is important to this role, as well as the ability to assimilate a significant amount of data. The ability to communicate effectively to including exceptional verbal and oral skills is required. A team player is a must as you will be part of a sales team focused on attaining revenue goals.
Skills & Experience
- Basic understanding of business tools like Salesforce.com, LinkedIn, Microsoft Excel
- A basic understanding of selling and the sales process (self-reading and training considered a plus)
- Exceptional writing skills, outstanding oral communication
- Meticulous attention to detail and a team player critical
- 1-3 years’ experience in sales related role preferred (sales internships considered)
- BA or BS degree, MBA preferred

Position Location
Must reside in San Diego, CA. Remote Work Policy: As of August 15, 2021, employees are given the option to work fully remote, work full-time in the office, or work (2-3 days per week) in the office.
