Job description

Responsibilities:

• Promote sales by demonstrating merchandise and products to customers
• Maintain a safe and clear store environment
• Help customers by providing information, answering questions, obtaining merchandise requested, and completing payment transactions
• Greet customers in a timely, professional and engaging manner
• Maintain an awareness of key fashion trends and product knowledge in order to assist customers with purchase decisions as necessary
• Work as a team player to ensure each customer receives the best service possible
• Perform daily maintenance tasks including stock work, re-merchandising, display, price markdowns, merchandise transfers and cleaning
• Assist customers at checkout with sales, returns and other transactions
• Answer telephone and direct customers to the appropriate contact
• Spend up to 100% of work time standing or moving around all areas of the store

Qualifications:

• REQUIRED: At least 3 years retail sales experience
• Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with customers and coworkers
• High level of accuracy, attention to detail and ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• General knowledge of apparel & footwear products, styles and brands
• Ability to work a flexible schedule based on store needs, including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to communicate with customers and provide quality customer service
• Strong computer proficiency and comfortable learning new computer applications
• Lift and carry 25 lbs., fold merchandise, climbing, reaching and pushing/pulling

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $25.00 per hour
