Summary:
A sales coordinator is responsible for all administrative and customer service needs of the salespeople that they work with. They will work as a team with the salesperson, being involved in all phases of the sale: bidding, ordering, scheduling, and servicing the order/customer. It is the coordinator’s responsibility to ensure that the customer’s needs are attended to in a prompt, courteous, and efficient manner.
Essential duties and responsibilities:
-Understand customer’s quoting and billing processes/policies in order to place orders within these guidelines, as well as Structural, LLC’s (SLLC) guidelines.
-Primary liaison between sales, internal departments, and customers.
-Accurately place all orders in the proper manner to ensure proper coding and tracking of materials/orders within the company’s computer system(s).
-Coordinate all shipments to meet the needs of the customer while following internal lead times and procedures.
-Constantly maintain customer schedule to ensure materials are shipped when requested.
-Handle all quotes sent to the customer under strict guidelines set forth by the company and maintain/revise them as needed.
-Process any modifications to bids, orders and delivery schedules.
-Maintain all customer files, according to set procedures, in an orderly manner.
-Maintain constant communication with sales, informing them of deadlines, customer needs/problems, etc.
-Adhere to company policy and procedures under all circumstances.
-Backup other coordinators and departments when needed.
-Be available to customer for all field issues and attempt to resolve them in a timely manner to the customer’s satisfaction (within SLLC’s guidelines).
-Other reasonably related duties as assigned by the Sales Coordinator Manager.

Language:
-Ability to speak effectively and communicate with co-workers.
Education:
-High school diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 5 years in a task management or upper level administrative position.

Math:
-Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Possess sound understanding of percentages and the ability to problem solve using numbers and formulas.
Reasoning:
-Ability to understand and carry out instructions furnished in oral or written form. Ability to learn procedures and follow through a task accordingly.
Computer Skills:
-Knowledge of word processing and spreadsheets in a Windows environment. Typing skills approx. 30 wpm. Experience with QuickBooks a plus (will be a required computer software to use).
Physical Demands:
-While performing the duties of the job, the employee is regularly required to sit, talk, and hear. They will also be required to type on a keyboard and enter data into a computer.
Work Environment:
The work environment is generally fast paced and interactive. The noise level ranges from low to moderately loud. The employee must be able to work and concentrate with various distractions and interruptions.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
