Job description
The IMA Group is seeking to hire Regional Sales Executives to focus on specified regions, targeting prospects and customers within these states.
The purpose of the position is to drive revenue and growth for The IMA Group. The markets to be addressed include, disability, workers compensation, liability, and auto, no fault.
Candidates MUST have experience in managed care or workers compensation to be considered.
Northeast, Midwest, Southeast, South and West Coast regions are the areas of focus for these roles.
The is a full-time, remote position.
We are not accepting candidates from Colorado or Washington at this time.
This sales professional is expected to
- Generate new sales opportunities and closures through new logo, new product, or substantial growth opportunities.
- Vet prospects to ensure a proper fit exists, successfully closing and onboarding of prospects
- Act as the account lead to manage the account independently or with an account manager to impact continuous growth in the account.
Specific duties and responsibilities, including but not limited to
- Establish new business contacts and build a robust sales pipeline at the local, regional and national level
- Generate client leads through multiple avenues, including cold-calling, social media research, and conference attendance
- Expand existing business to include new geographies and additional lines of business
- Manage the entire sales cycle including locating new clients to securing and closing the deal
- Present products and services to both existing clients and prospective candidates
- Cultivate relationships by providing professional support to enhance customer retention
- Respond to customer concerns and resolve issues timely aiming to improve customer satisfaction
- Develop and maintain exceptional knowledge of the company’s services and the value delivered
- Maintain records of sales activity within The IMA Group CRM
- Create detailed business plans to facilitate the attainment of goals and quotas
- Assist with the RFP and proposal process
- Communicate to internal groups the outcome of proposals and conveying the expectations set forth
- Travel to achieve sales goals is required.
Education
- Bachelors degree, required.
Experience
- 3 years of regional sales experience calling on top level decision makers, required.
- 5 years of state or local sales experience calling on desk level, mid-level, and senior level decision makers, required.
- Industry and product knowledge, required.
