Job Description:

The Sales and Operations Manager will focus on studio sales and member retention.

Sales:

  • Lead the sales team to meet studio goals
  • Ensure that inbound leads are worked in a timely and effective manner
  • Coach sales team on conducting pre-sales calls and in person studio visits
  • Identify trends and patterns affecting studio sales, and work with the team and management to try solutions
  • Read and respond to social media inquiries on a regular basis
  • Work studio shifts as part of the Sales Advisor team

Retention:

  • Develop positive and professional relationships with members
  • Keep members engaged with special events, recognition, social media & more!
  • Resolve past dues and other account issues as needed
  • Recommend options for those looking to cancel, downgrade or freeze
  • Provide oversight to the sales team on account management

Hours and Availability:

  • Full time position, 40 hours per week.
  • Must be available for studio tours/intro classes which occur on weekends and Thursday evening.
  • Must be able to step into team shifts as needed to ensure coverage.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Driven and dependable sales leader who thrives on building positive relationships and is eager to grow
  • Able to think out of the box to overcome objections and find mutually beneficial solutions
  • Superior presentation and communication skills at all levels. Adept at de-escalating potentially difficult situations, providing excellent customer service while maintaining policies as needed
  • Fitness Membership Sales or other High End / Luxury sales, including Hospitality, Medical Spa, Massage, or other Health and Wellness services. Inside Sales experience may be helpful
  • Polished & professional in appearance and demeanor
  • Community engagement
  • Adept at social media and various technology platforms: Canva, Facebook, Instagram, Google sheets and Google docs, QR codes, Point of Sale (POS), Client Management software (CMS)
  • Interested in learning more about Pilates and taking classes
