Job description
The Sales Manager is responsible for assisting in the direction and coordination of all sales activities for the Sales Office.Also responsible for overseeing a Team of Sales Representatives.
Recruit and train sales representative
- Motivate and mentor sales team to achieve budgeted sales goals
- Assist with conducting sales and training meetings
- Ensure that management staff are aware of and adhere to all Bluegreen’s HR policies and procedures • Ensure that sales activities are conducted within State, Corporate, and National Sales guidelines
- Maintain company minimum performance standards
- Maintain excellent customer service
- Each Team Leader will be responsible for recruiting, hiring, mentoring and with the knowledge and presence of the Senior Sales Manager or Director of Sales disciplining their team members within the policies and procedures outlined in the Bluegreen Vacations company handbook.
- Each Team Leader will hold at least one (1) weekly training session either in concert with other teams or on their own with curriculum approved by the Senior Sales Manager or Director of Sales. Such training sessions will be at least 30 minutes long and will cover pertinent topics.
- Each Team Leader will do a complete ride along with at least one (1) team member per week and complete the Sales Representative evaluation report. A copy of that report will be given to the Senior Sales Manager, Director of Sales and Site VP on the Tuesday following the previous week-ending period (Monday-Sunday).
- Each Team Leader will be evaluated on the performance of his or her team and must insure that the team maintains minimum standards for VPG, sampler sales, referral collection, Medallia scores and other metrics as outlined herein.
- Each Team Leader will be responsible to ensure that each team member is trained, mentored and coached to be both a productive team member and a good representative of the Bluegreen Vacation Club. Performs the job assigned complying with Company policies and procedures, business code of ethics, FLSA regulations, and all applicable laws, as well as ensuring confidentiality, reliability, quality, and productivity.
