Main missions :

The role of the rig sales representative is to prospect new customers and generate sales with new customer, historical ones and also help our distributors into development of their own sales using technical knowledge and experience. This is accomplished by identifying and specifying markets and prospects.

In addition, the sales representant is also responsible for the sales follow up of warranty claims and parts sales by directing the customer to the right departments to handle his support needs.


Missions:


  • Gather current market place information on newly introduced products, delivery schedules, pricing, and merchandising techniques in order to monitor competition.
  • Investigate problems; prepare reports; develop solutions, and make recommendations to management in order to resolve customer complaints.

  • Establish new clients by organizing and planning daily work schedule to build on existing or potential sales outlets.

  • Attend educational workshops; review publications, and be involved in professional societies.

  • Provide historical records by keeping records on customer inquiries and sales.

  • Study the type of sales outlet and adjust content of sales presentations.

  • Make and submit orders by referring to product line and price lists.

  • Contribute to team efforts in accomplishing organizational goals.

  • Study potential volume of dealers and focus on sales efforts.

  • Possess strong ability to prospect, negotiate, and close sales and strong follow up skills.

  • Ability and willingness to travel for extended periods of time on a budget.

  • Strong persistence in dealing with people and not giving up easily.

  • Positive mentality, with the ability to manage territories effectively.

  • Strong product knowledge, client relation, and presentation skills.

  • Customer service oriented, with the ability to meet sales goals.
  • Ability and willing to work on weekends and possibly holidays.
  • Ability to maintain a neat and presentable personality.
  • Knowledge of the Drilling/Mining industry.
  • Ability to give attention to safety issues.
  • Knowledge of CRM software

Miscellaneous :

Location : Philipsburg

Mobility: Travels to visit customers, possibly headquarter in France or sister company in Austria.
