About the Sales Solution Architect:
MarketStar currently has an opportunity available for a Sales Solution Architect. This position will work with the HP PBM team and partner to forecast and retire quarterly sales quota, design and execute print business plans, work and close opportunities, educate and train on print sales strategies and programs and facilitate relationships with accounts. The Sales Solution Architect will execute within the field assigned accounts and their various locations across the US.
Location: Remote - Chicago, IL
What will you do?
- Specialized knowledge in HP Print Solutions, Services and Product offerings
- Work in the HP account team to co-develop business plans with partner PBM owns specialist strategic direction
- Works with partners to develop and execute sales initiatives/campaigns
- Responsible for hunting & funnel creation through joint partner activities
- Execute and runt partner/customer/EU sales engagement meetings
- Quarterly Business Plan, Forecasting, Gap Closure or Upside Activities
- Attend & participate in PBM, Partner, Sales & Forecasting, HP field sales team meetings and Category Meetings
- Proactively push product information; NPI, Playbooks, and other pertinent information to accounts
- Playbook reviews with accounts; helping them determine which promotions are best, and how to utilize them
- Stay current on new and upcoming products to proactively update accounts regarding new product introductions prior to product launches
- Provides timely and consistent reporting to accounts
- Train and facilitate on-site training events – providing demo units, arranging slide decks/presentations, obtaining trainers, etc.
- Dependable and consistent follow-up, answer questions in a timely manner, and act with a sense of urgency
- Attend and Train partners outside of primary account list as requested by MarketStar Manager
Skills & Qualifications:
- 4-year college degree or equivalent and additional industry technical/sales certifications preferred
- 4 or more years of similar or related sales/product experience
- Applies moderate technical level knowledge to solve complex business issues
- Applies moderate analysis and employs analytical interpretation and constructive thinking to determine best solutions
- Limited supervision with moderate discretion and independent judgment and significant latitude for discretion
- Demonstrates various sales techniques and has an advanced understanding of products and programs
- Leverages various sales techniques and has an advanced understanding of products and programs
- Demonstrated repeated success in achieving quota
