Private Client Services: Sales Specialist
  • Sales expectations for Senior Account Manager: $3M+
  • Primary Functions:
    • Manage relationships and drive outbound sales by working with clients on an individual basis across retail, storage, and auction
    • Share passion and knowledge of wine through curated content
    • Interact with clients at events, tastings, and auctions.
  • Other Functions:
    • Available for inbound phone calls and emails from customers needing assistance with new and existing orders
    • Support store functions, including sales on the floor
    • Participate in Web Sales Outreach Program
    • Assist with Special Projects and ad hoc requests from Senior Management
    • Attend at least one weekly meeting with another department (Buying Team, Warehouse/Inventory Mgmt., Storage, Auction)
    • Attend Industry Events and Tastings as Continuing Education
Qualifications:
  • Senior Account Managers should have 5+ years of experience in the Wine Industry.
  • Detail-oriented self-starter with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Passion for customer service and providing an exceptional buying/selling experience
  • Strong team player with a dynamic personality and excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, is essential.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office especially Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • Certifications from the Wine and Spirits Education Trust, Society of Wine Educators, and/or Court of Master Sommeliers, not required but preferred
  • Experience with NetSuite, not required but preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree, not required but preferred
Schedule : Light travel is required. Occasional weekends and evenings are required. Some holidays are required.
