Job Responsibilities.
- Adheres to appropriate route as assigned.
- Ensure the safety of all students.
- Arrives to each assigned route location timely.
- Maintains the entry of driver’s log.
- Performs pre and post vehicle inspections; reports same.
- Responsible for a clean and mechanically sound bus at all times.
- Monitors vehicle maintenance; refuels as required or requested.
- Communicates with dispatch via two-way radio.
- Complies with all general safety rules.
- Follows internal reporting for safety hazards.
- Escalates inappropriate student behavior.
- Obeys all traffic laws.
- May assist students with on and off boarding.
- Attends all general safety trainings.
- All other duties as assigned.

- Intermediate Reasoning
Education/Experience.
High school diploma or any equivalent combination of training and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities is qualifying. To perform this job successfully, an individual must have a valid driver’s license and the ability to successfully pass required backgrounds checks including but not limited to: Child Abuse Clearance, State Criminal, FBI Clearance, and drug/alcohol testing. *Must be 21 or older.
