Responsibilities:

  • Enables the project teams to adopt and use the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) Lean Agile principles and techniques in executing the organization and management of work
  • Author initiatives, epics and stories, work with scrum teams to refine requirements, design solutions, develop success criteria, and drive change required to deliver on business goals
  • Utilize Agile software tools (Jira, TFS or other Agile software) to organize and track epics, projects, stories and tasks, and report metrics
  • Identify and resolve team impediments, ensures the acceptance criteria is met for completed user stories
  • Provide inputs to the Program Manager in collecting information regarding CMS/CCIIO governance processes that include Target Life Cycle, Marketplace Project Startup (MaPS), Change Prioritization Board (CPB) & CCIIO Technology Governance Framework
  • Assist in identifying processes and artifacts used by management and teams to execute MIDAS. Key content includes management practices that address performance monitoring, scope monitoring, schedule management, risk management, training, communications, QA, change management and connectivity
  • Responsible for providing inputs to all major project reports including Weekly Status Report, Monthly Status Reports
  • Facilitate and support all scrum events: Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Sprint Review, Sprint Retrospective, Demos
  • Track project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short- and long-term goals
  • Work directly with clients to ensure deliverables fall within the applicable scope and budget
  • Develop and maintain program documentation and correspondence
  • Provide comprehensive schedules for each release. Develop and maintain Program Documentation and correspondence – review with Program Manager for approval
  • Work with team members to implement Program changes as they occur. Atlassian Suite support and Process introduction
  • Manage and groom backlog of user stories and ensure acceptance criteria are met
  • Ensure all Scrum Artifacts are transparent, provide reports and metrics on team velocity, epics, projects, stories and tasks
  • Works with management team to resolve outstanding scope issues/technical debt

Requirements:

  • 5-7 years of Scrum Management in an AGILE environment
  • Planning, estimation, delivery, tracking, reporting/dashboarding
  • Experience managing data engineering projects (Data management, data warehousing)
  • Experience managing utilization and reporting use cases using JIRA
  • Knowledge of AWS based Data Analytics platform is a plus
  • Employment is subject to the successful completion of multiple background investigations (CMS eQIP & RELIGroup’s), verification of qualifications, completion of onboarding forms, submission of required documents, and any other job-related requirement before or after appointment
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or similar agile project management certification
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Management Sciences, Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related discipline with four years of relevant experience in systems analysis or business analysis; OR
  • Associate's degree in Business, Engineering, Management Sciences, Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related discipline with six years of relevant experience in systems analysis or business analysis; OR
  • Eight years of relevant experience in systems analysis or business analysis
