Overview:

IntelliBridge is an award-winning national security company looking for a Scrum Master to support our contract with USCIS.

As Scrum Master you will educate and support your teams in agile practice and principles. Through strong facilitation methods, you’ll lead planning and grooming exercises as well as daily team syncs. You’ll play a key role in tracking sprint goals and communicating metrics while empowering team members to self-organize and perform at the highest level.

As you and your team learn and grow through the practice of Agile, you will have an opportunity to feedback into the IntelliBridge organization through Ignite Talks, retrospectives, hands-on collaborative sessions and other approaches you may discover. In addition, your leadership in the implementation of Agile will set standards and guiding principles within the scrum teams you support as well as throughout supporting practices.

Responsibilities/Duties:

• You will own the facilitation and implementation of the Agile process as envisioned through U.Group and the Agile community.
  • Set and promote groundwork for the practice of Scrum and Kanban Agile within your teams and across the U.Group organization.
  • Provide updates to the organization as new Agile trends and approaches emerge.
  • Facilitate agile ceremonies throughout your team’s iterations.
  • Continuously coach teams to higher levels of Scrum Maturity.
  • Build a trusted “safe environment” which allows team members to openly voice concerns without fear of retaliation.
• You will track, report and enforce accountability around the development of varying types and levels of functionality.
  • Manage sprint backlogs.
  • Promote shared team accountability across all commitments.
  • Facilitate team swarms and other approaches at overcoming obstacles.
  • Promote and facilitate a team attitude focused on getting work done.
  • Support and educate the Product Owner in the messaging of the product vision and the maintenance of the product backlog.
• You will advocate for team members and facilitate the escalation and remove impediments.
  • Educate and empower team members in the process of assessing complexity actively engaging in the process of story-point-sizing.
  • Provide clear avenues for team members to escalate blockers and push back where needed.
  • Manage and regularly escalate RAID logs.
  • Quickly identify accountable stakeholders “the right person” and facilitate a path towards a resolution.
  • Facilitate interactions between product and engineering focused team members, especially when motivations conflict.
• You will promote positive team dynamics and good communication.
  • Promote and educate teams in the practice of self-organization.
  • Facilitate regular collaborative team-building sessions.
  • Guide teams through the stages of group development.
  • Identify, address and promote healthy conflict-resolution approaches.
  • As a servant-leader to your team, you will empower all members in the execution of their jobs through leadership-by-example.

Required Qualifications:

• Shall be certified Scrum Master
• Shall have a minimum of three (3) years of experience focusing on business architecture analysis and UX/UI Design
• Shall have a minimum of one (1) year experience in building business process models, writing acceptance criteria, and designing user interfaces for a production system.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience leading teams through all aspects of the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).
