The Agile Delivery organization of Sealed Air is responsible for growing enterprise knowledge of the Agile methodology, driving adoption and guiding agile teams for both internal and customer facing products. Due to aggressive growth goals for 2021 and beyond, our team is expanding.
Th e Scrum Master p osition is a key role within the Agile organization and acts as the facilitator for an Agile team. They are responsible for helping the team embrace and implement Agile values and practices. This individual is motivated by the teams they support and holds a relentless drive for improvement and continuous flow. The Scrum Master is the team level coach and nurtures a high-performance environment by removing impediments, reinforcing specific Agile practices and techniques. They will work with cross functional team members to support key feature development in a B2B industry and will contribute to the Scrum Master Community of Practice.
The position reports directly to t he Global Digital Program Manager an d will be remote - EST or CT time candidates based on business need. Responsibilities
Facilitation of Scrum teams, creation of & adherence to team agreements such as Definition of Ready (DoR), Definition of Done (DoD) and other working agreements / best practices
Deeply understands the product domain, organizational vision and socializes this knowledge to all Scum team members
Protects Scrum teams from distractions, removes impediments and enables them to create high value products
Guide the creation and management of a backlog effectively by partnering with Product Owners and Business Analysts to maximize value
Manage User Story / Defect lifecycles and workflows in tools such as Jira and/or Wrike
Provide coaching, training and leadership to peers and team members alike, specifically around self-organization and problem-solving techniques
Identify, recommend, and implement coaching for continuous improvement of teams
Building a trusting and safe environment where problems can be raised without fear of blame, retribution, or being judged, with an emphasis of healing and problem solving.
Assessing the Scrum Maturity and Agility of the team
Coaches the teams to higher levels of maturity at a pace that is sustainable and comfortable for the team and organization
Stay current on new methodologies, tools, capabilities, and changes in the market
Qualifications
3-5 years’ experience serving in a role related to Agile delivery in a large company
2+ years’ experience as an Agile Project Manager or Scrum Master
2+ years’ experience supporting software delivery teams
Holds a CSM, PSM, PMI-ACP or similar certification
Advanced knowledge of the software development life cycle
Ability to confidently structure the Atlassian tool suite (Jira, Confluence)
Skills to Stand Out
Self-motivated, organized, and capable of delivering results with minimum supervision
Ability to influence both leaders and team members alike and act as an Agile evangelist
Exposure to scaled B2B eCommerce platforms
Familiar with SAFe, XP, Kanban, Nexus frameworks

Exceptional customer service orientation
Demonstrated ability to champion change, influence & drive results in a complex organization

Excellent written and verbal communication.
Experience with documentation layout and formatting skills
Manage and maintain documentation for all scrum ceremonies and necessary meeting minutes.
Ability to drive and motivate team members toward solution delivery.
