Job description
We welcome artistic individuals from a variety of design, visual and sales backgrounds to a team that drives results and brand depth in collaboration with our Sales & Design Management staff. This job typically starts with assisting in design and sales of merchandise in our stores in Little Rock, North Little Rock, Conway and Pine Bluff . The position includes helping set inspiring merchandise displays that are in line with our premiere visual standards in our retail sales area. If possible, we utilize those same individuals for assisting on the sales floor, telephone sales, product fulfillment, and design with florals and plants. This is a seasonal/permanent position available for the Valentine/Mother's Day holiday period , but we are always looking for fresh talent to add to our permanent design and sales staff. In fact the majority of our permanent staff at Tipton & Hurst started in this seasonal position.
- Experience with merchandising, design and or sales in a retail environment is preferred
- Decorating/ Design/Sales experience preferred
- Sales - Must be able to climb ladders
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to lift 25+lbs on a regular basis
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time
- Pay is commensurate with experience
