Job Title: Packer

Starting rate: $11.50

Shifts Available: A) 8am – 3pm; B) 3pm – close; C) 8am – close

Come see us to complete your paperwork and get a start date. Start dates will be 11/9/2022 or on or around 11/30/2022. First come, first serve. Positions will fill up fast! Come see HR during one of these times:

Mondays: 9:00am-11:00am

Wednesdays: 4:00pm-6:00pm

Fridays: 9:00am-11:00am

Located at: 1650 90th Ave, Vero Beach, FL 32966 (Enter through double doors, break room on the left)

Summary

Pack necessary products, edibles, marketing literature and packing material into final package assembly and place on takeaway conveyor

Essential Functions

· Read shipping label to determine gift number and SKUs required to assemble gift.

· Pack necessary fruit and additional components into appropriate carton to appear as it does in the catalog

· Perform final quality inspection on perishable items (citrus and other fruits) as they are packed and discard items that do not conform to quality standards

· Assure that orders are complete and accurate

· Pack trays of fruit

· Place trays of fruit into shipping carton

· Pack clamshell gifts and gift baskets

· Other duties as assigned

Qualifications, Education & Experience

· Must have good attendance and be able to work weekends

· Citrus and/or warehouse experience preferred

· Experience operating pallet jack, material carts, strapping or taping machine a plus

Physical Demands and Work Environment

· Standing / Walking (continuously)

· Lifting up to 10lbs (frequently)

· Grasping / handling materials (continuously)

· Bending (frequently)

· Reaching (frequently)

· Pushing up to 50 lbs (frequently)

· Carrying products / materials (frequently)
