Job description
Patrols grounds and buildings of campus to maintain order and provide protection of buildings, contents, and grounds. Ensures only personnel with legitimate business at the College are on College property. If unauthorized persons are found, issues notice of trespass tickets. Issues student ID cards and parking permits; provides information assistance as necessary to visitors, students, faculty, and staff. Answers complaints, prepares incident reports, notifies proper authorities of incidents such as emergencies, trespassing, fires, etc. Delivers and picks up bank bags and change for the College. Opens and closes buildings and responds to any alarm activations during normal business hours or when the College is closed. Locks and unlocks exterior and interior doors as scheduled and requested. Patrols parking areas and tickets illegally parked vehicles; enforces all parking and traffic regulations; directs traffic to include traffic control for special College functions and visiting dignitaries. Assists with tornado, fire, and other drills. Monitors and reports maintenance issues (such as lights not working) to maintenance department. Checks fire extinguishers monthly and documents. Performs other duties as assigned.

A high school diploma.
