For over 100 years, our goal at The DeLong Co., Inc. has been to provide information, products and services to the farming industry. We are hiring a Seed Warehouse employee for our Evansville facility.
Summary Description of a Sedd Warehouse Employee
This position would include working in the seed warehouse, treating seed, operating forklift, generating delivery tickets and delivering product in the Delong service area. This opening can be seasonal or full-time depending on availability of applicant.
Essential Job Functions
- Helping with all aspects of the warehouse. Unloading and loading trucks, organizing inventory, maintain delivery records, work within the safety guidelines of The DeLong Company
- Assist with planting, harvest and analyzing plot data
- Operating our seed treater including product, maintenance and delivery
- Desire to serve farmers and others involved in the agriculture industry
- Willingness to work as a team member
- Desire to remain updated with new agricultural trends and technology
- Other duties as necessary
- A valid class B CDL for delivery purposes.
