Who Are We Looking For?

You are an experienced sales professional who is passionate about technology and client success. You have a proven track record of building and maintaining a sales pipeline with a high conversion rate and can identify new sales opportunities through networking initiatives and customer referrals. You have an information technology background, have experience selling IT products and solutions and can articulate the value of such solutions to clients. You are an entrepreneurial leader with a demonstrated track record of consistently delivering growth and achieving sales targets.


Key Responsibilities


  • Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline to deliver consistent business growth and achieve sales and gross profit targets
  • Leverage your extended network of existing client relationships and develop new opportunities and markets
  • Maintain a targeted understanding of our client’s business, channel partners and suppliers to optimize joint selling opportunities
  • Identify customer needs and communicate how company products and services fulfill those needs
  • Research, take necessary trainings, and maintain a solid understanding of our technology partners and associated service offerings to better serve our clients
  • Develop solid sales proposals to convince potential and existing customers to purchase company products and services
  • Demonstrate the ability to establish technical needs
  • Lead and support pre-sales efforts (find, qualify), manage customer evaluations, and respond to RFPs
  • Support the after-sales process by maintaining client relationships and resolving client satisfaction issues; monitor opportunities for cross-selling
  • Develop strong and long-term client relationships
  • Collect customer feedback to determine product and service shortfalls for continuous improvement
  • Attend sales meetings and provide progress updates
  • Research and stay informed on industry trends

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree with demonstrated aptitude to grasp and learn new technologies, degree in science, engineering, or commerce a plus
  • Minimum 5+ years selling IT technologies; cloud, cybersecurity, ITSM solutions, Data & AI solutions a plus
  • Minimum of 5+ years of direct customer-facing business development and/or sales experience, closing six and seven figures technology solutions preferred
  • Knowledgeable in cloud infrastructure and services - Microsoft Azure preferred; network & security solutions - Palo Alto preferred; ITSM solutions - ServiceNOW preferred; ability to apply these solutions to solve complex challenges for clients
  • Experience preferred in any of the following: IT systems, enterprise or infrastructure management, network security, application development and management, business applications and/or analytics, enterprise ecosystems, helpdesks, and managed solutions
  • Lead meetings and present impactful presentations with an ability to influence C-level decision-makers; ability to adapt within a fast-growing and changing environment
  • Experience with the bid process, including the preparation of proposals and the management of contract negotiations
  • Knowledgeable with sales processes, tools, and governance

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications; Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software a plus
