We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join our Finance industry team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in GAAP, Accounting, cost accounting, Inventory Accounting, financial reporting, monthly close, journal entries, Account Reconciliation, General Ledger, and IFRS GAAP. This is a full-time position, and the candidate must have at least three years of experience in the field.
Responsibilities:
The Senior Accountant will be responsible for a range of duties, including but not limited to:
- Preparing and analyzing financial statements in accordance with GAAP and IFRS GAAP standards
- Conducting monthly close procedures, including journal entries and account reconciliations
- Maintaining and analyzing cost accounting and inventory accounting records
- Generating financial reports for management and external stakeholders
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant accounting regulations and standards
- Providing support for audits and other financial reviews
- Collaborating with other members of the finance team to improve processes and procedures
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
- At least three years of experience in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and IFRS GAAP standards
- Experience with cost accounting and inventory accounting
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
