Job Title: Senior Advisor

Reports To: Partner Group

Job Description: The successful candidate will be an integral part of the firm’s advisory and client experience team. He/She will:

· Provide valuable advice and confidence to clients.

· Create trust and deepen relationships with client and their network of related professionals.

· Engage in business development as well as the larger community.

· Participate in creation of client communication and educational articles/presentations.

· Manage and mentor team that supports his/her clients.


Accountable for:

· Meeting and exceeding clients’ wealth management needs and service expectations.

o Educating and empowering clients to make informed financial decisions.

o Coordinating with various professionals to successfully implement wealth management strategies.

o Managing client risk proactively and ensuring a long term approach with client wealth.

o Communicating effectively with clients on a regular basis.

· Ensuring team atmosphere (no silos) and culture of our clients vs my clients.

o Involving and keeping advisory and client service team informed regarding client activity.

o Assisting in overall growth of clients by involving others as needed.

o Developing internal support team so that a successful career path can be established for them.

o Proficient in advanced portfolio management and financial planning concepts.

o Experienced in executing complex wealth management strategies.

o Demonstrated ability to manage and foster a variety of complex clients.

o Ability to break down complex concepts into simple explanations.

o Comfortable presenting in front of others.

o Ability to recognize communication preferences to most effectively engage clients.

o Ability to inspire and motivate support team.

o Ability to recognize when specialists need to be involved or when work needs to be delegated

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum 7 years of experience in the wealth management industry or a related field.
  • CFP® or CFA
  • College degree, advanced degree a plus
  • Proficient with client relationship management, portfolio management/accounting, and financial planning softwares. Orion, Junxure CRM, eMoney, and Schwab or Fidelity advisor websites a plus.

  • Ability to manage up to 75 clients over time.
