Microsoft for Startups team is looking for a Senior Artificial Intelligence (AI) Advocate.

Microsoft for Startups is a global team that takes a 360-degree approach to build success. We work with accelerators, venture capitalists (VCs), industry organizations, customers, universities and our field teams to identify the most promising founders and startups. We then partner side by side with their leaders to build out great solutions that will make the world a better place.

Responsibilities

As a Senior Artificial Intelligence Advocate, you will:

  • Promote Microsoft AI services with passion and enthusiasm within your local community across various platforms and events.
  • Create networks by connecting with and earning the trust of influential thought leaders in your community.
  • Craft engaging content, including videos and tutorials, showcasing the versatility of Microsoft Cloud services for various skill levels.
  • Cultivate relationships with key influencers, nurture a vibrant technical community, and gather valuable product feedback to share with the engineering team.
  • Win over the tech community by contributing to essential open-source projects and developing innovative apps.
  • Utilize data, experiments, and customer insights to foster continuous learning for Microsoft and growth within your community.
  • Maximize your impact by collaborating with Microsoft field members and community program participants.
  • Embody our culture and values


Qualifications

Required/Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree AND 4+ years experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development
    • OR equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.

Additional or Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree AND 8+ years experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development
    • OR equivalent experience.
  • 6+ years experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.
  • 1+ year(s) experience reading and/or writing code (e.g., sample documentation, product demos)
  • Knowledge of large language model (LLM) and Foundational models toolsets
  • Experience and skills with Azure Data and AI services
  • Knowledge of the AI open source ecosystem
  • Experience in public speaking and technical writing
Technical Program Management IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $112,000 - $218,400 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $145,800 - $238,600 per year.
