Camden Homes, LLC is a vertically integrated privately owned company that is in the business of providing housing solutions to the workforce of America.
The Position: This job entails various components related to financial analysis of real estate. This job includes helping compile financial analysis in support of seeking financing, purchasing lots from the City of Dallas or Fort Worth, helping organize note participation sales, transferring property among entities, along with various day-to-day tasks.
Main Responsibilities:
- Loan Processing/Portfolio Refinances
- Collect and review collateral documentation/chain of title (notes, allonges, recorded documents) for financial institutions (banks, life insurance companies, etc.). Get loan document signed/notarized/recorded. If entity changes are involved, create purchase sale agreements, funding schedules, update Salesforce and update SNSC if assets are mortgages.
- Development Loan Draw Tracking
- Process monthly draw requests and update draw schedules to track horizontal development projects, based on internal draw processes. Know how to allocate invoices in budget based on cost codes. Send notifications to accounting and land development once draws fund. Send invoice packages to accounting for payment. Be able to look up whether invoices have/have not been paid upon request. Keep development draw tracker up to date.
Banking
- Respond to bank and audit inquiries on a timely manner. Respond within 24 hours of receipt of inquiry even to indicated that the request will take some time to comply. This might mean getting inventory reports from Marketing, meeting with upper mgmt. to complete personal financial statements, and getting entity financials from accounting drive.
- Create and update data tapes for leases and/or mortgages for presenting to banks, etc. Gather information from project management tools (Salesforce, SN Servicing, Buildium, etc.)
- Due Diligence for Note Participations
- Track/collect appropriate collateral needed for purchasers (banks, life insurance companies, etc)
- Review collateral at bank to ensure purchaser has complete original collateral set
- Prepare funding schedules/agreements for seller and purchaser to review and execute
- Prepare note transfer contracts for properties to be moved to other internal entities of Camden
- Communicate with various banks, title companies and note servicing companies and give them sufficient time to prepare for payoffs and prepare collateral for review
- Once sale is funded, coordinate collateral to be sent to appropriate parties
- Insurance
- Request evidence of property insurance and tenant dwelling certificates for bank compliance and GA Draws
- Interim Construction Loan Submittals
- Submit documents (appraisals, budgets, and floor plans) to lenders once addresses are submitted.
