JOB TITLE: Senior IT Specialist


EMPLOYER: NewMarket Services Corporation


JOB DESCRIPTION: Perform SAP Upgrade, S4HANA System conversion, Migration, and Database upgrade. Administration of SAP landscape, HANA, MSSQL Microsoft SQL, and MAXDB databases. Support pack upgrade and Performance tuning, root cause analysis. Perform backups, recovery, and system refresh. Setup Replication and perform failover during critical issues. Maintain printers and transports. Support SLES, Windows, and SUSE Operating System as Daily SAP BASIS and database support. Monitor and troubleshoot HANA, Sybase, MAXDB, and Microsoft SQL databases. Prepare and maintain system documentation. Support scheduled and unscheduled maintenance as required. Work with the functional SAP team to assist with the ongoing functional support of SAP and interfacing systems. Monitor and maintain SAP systems environments for optimum performance and proactively identify potential problems. Conduct root cause analysis for P1 and P2 issues. Coordinate and implement security measures to safeguard information against damage, modification, and disclosure. Identify, evaluate, and recommend hardware and software technologies to achieve desired database performance. Plan and supervise installation and testing of new products and improvements to SAP landscape, including the installation/upgrade of new databases.


JOB REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or related IT field, or foreign equivalent with Five (5) years’ experience providing SAP, Database administration solutions using S4HANA, SAP BASIS, ERP, BW, NetWeaver 7.5, Solman 7.2, GRC, BOE, PO, HANA DBA, Max-DB, Sybase ASE, Oracle, Live cache, and SQL.
