The Senior Manager, Data Science Practice is leading the team responsible for leveraging best in class industry tools to architect data science solutions. This team is responsible for developing data visualizations, data engineering pipelines, machine-learning solutions that facilitate our Technology team's that ensure health of our Enterprise's Business services, and the 2M+ supporting technology assets. Our data driven culture, envisions advancing our Enterprise's Reliability and Observability through building and deploying analytical solutions unifying & leveraging new data sources to present real-time situational awareness across our Business Functions and Technology Teams.

Responsibilities
Leverage a broad stack of technologies, Python, R, Flask, AWS, and more, to reveal trends and improve analysis
Collaborate at all levels across the organization, to develop and build support for strategies, leading to alignment and adoption of delivered capabilities
Lead and mentor a team of data scientists, which is a blend of Senior & Early Career members, to deepen their understanding and use of cutting edge data science and machine learning methods
Investigate new technology, informing updates to our Data Science Practice Roadmap
Productize proven algorithms in a timely manner, while measuring and improving the quality of analytics solutions on an ongoing basis
Closely work with technology and business partners to enhance outputs, trouble-shoot data issues
Be a Leader that advances team's agile workstyle ensuring smooth delivery, closely partnering with team’s Agile Product Manager
Identify and Develop the right talent for the team to deliver on our innovate roadmap including: hiring, performance administration, pay administration, talent management, professional development, training and counseling, as well source of knowledge for company programs and policies
Lead both technology and cultural change within Data Science Practice and wider technology to ensure delivery of high quality products and reduce tech debt

Qualifications
Bachelors in Engineering, or 7+ years of relevant experience; Masters in Data Sciences or related fields preferred
Previous Management Experience
Strong technical experience with Python, Tableau, SQL, AWS or other cloud management desired
Learning and Growth mindset
Experience mentoring a team, this includes, hire and grow
Strong interpersonal savvy & strong verbal and written communication skills
Has experience in leading and delivering value for complex analytics projects on timely basis
Working experience analyzing processes that need improvement (Technology Wide)
Working experience using Influxdb, Service Now, splunk preferred
Working experience with Tableau, Business Analytics and other Reporting Skills
