Who We Are

We are seeking a Senior Manager to lead our Project Management Office to orchestrate the success of the Interventional Spine Portfolio. You will be leading Project and Program Managers launching new products into the market and championing the PMO’s vision and strategy.

What You Will Do

As the Senior Manager, PMO – R&D you will be a part of the IVS leadership organization team and partner with the R&D and Marketing organizations to drive forward the portfolio of new product development projects that are necessary for critical business success. You will ensure program management of multiple critical projects involving cross functional teams. Your focus will be to develop portfolio level schedules consolidated from multiple sources, resource planning and reporting, and develop accurate tools and repeatable processes for managing various projects.

• Lead PMO function for Interventional Spine.
• Establish, plan and manage portfolio governance board. Evaluate tradeoffs within business unit.
• Manage divisional portfolio scope to meet business unit goals.
• Manage and optimize business unit portfolio timelines and launch cadence.
• Manage and optimize business unit portfolio budgets. Drive project and program cost efficiencies. Influence and vote on divisional portfolio spend decisions.
• Responsible for evaluating a range of programs and projects and work within the portfolio with the goal of facilitating staffing, resolving resource allocations, and monitor staff utilization activities that will generate the highest business value aligned with the prioritization process.
• Recruit, hire, onboard, manage, and develop direct staff.
• Build and sustain effective stakeholder relationships at all levels, particularly with business partners. Develop stakeholder strategies for the effective management across broad range of expectations and requirements.
• Implement an effective communications, management strategies to executive leadership with specific emphasis on business objectives delivery, efficient resource deployment, effective risk and issue management.
• Responsible for ensuring/coaching others in effective meeting management and group facilitation activities for programs/projects in scope of PMO
• Champions talent strategy in the department. Builds mutual trust and drives collaboration across teams. Regularly develops people and talent pools.

What You Need

• Bachelor’s Degree
• 10+ years of work experience

Preferred

• PMP
• People leadership experience
