The Opportunity

Ulteig is currently seeking talented and motivated candidates for a Senior Municipal Engineer based out of the Minneapolis/St. Paul metro region.

What You Will Do

The Senior Municipal Engineer acts as a team leader and project manager with complete responsibility for design and construction of projects within their market. Additional project responsibilities include coordination, certification, management, and client relations for engineering projects. Provides expert judgment and analysis for the design, development and implementation of engineering services. Supervises less experienced engineers and technical staff; and is responsible for teaming with Ulteig’s business development group to support project pursuits in the Twin Cities metro region. Duties include responding to RFPs and pursuing opportunities to develop projects and build client relationships.

What We Expect from You

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering required
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required
• Minimum of 15 years of relative engineering experience is preferred
• Experience with City, County, and State government required with specific experience in the Twin Cities metro
• Experience managing multifaceted, multidiscipline projects is preferred
• Proven experience in Microsoft Software Applications (Word, Excel, Power Point, Office)
• Familiarity with the AutoCAD or MicroStation design platform or other applicable design software preferred
• Valid driver's license
• Must have permanent authorization to work in the US
