Senior Operations & Sales Support Analyst (Open to Remote)
Job Summary
The Senior Operations & Sales Support Analyst will analyze and process all data related to LVT contracts into SAM and other IGS systems, consistently maintaining a high degree of accuracy and knowledge of system and utility processes and protocols.
Under the strategic guidance of leadership, the team member will assist with driving businesses processes and initiatives. This analyst will support sales and management by ensuring sales deal accuracy and provide sales deal confirmation to the customer. The analyst will also ensure all customer contracts and terms are maintained in the system. The analyst will also help design and provide management reporting including margin and profitability, sales commission calculation and reporting, and sales performance trending and analysis to support management strategy for growth.
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Demonstrates proven ability to naturally research issues and drive solutions
  • Assist internal/external stakeholders in identifying issues and resolving transaction discrepancies while ensuring satisfactory performance to company standards
  • Handle contract data entry utilizing internal protocols and processes for assigned trading partners
  • Run various queries and reports and publish results and findings to internal customers
  • Use internal protocols and processes to identify gaps in data process flow and react accordingly with emphasis on customer satisfaction.
  • Incorporate best practices and standard operating procedures by reviewing processes and analyzing large data sets for trends.
  • Work directly with Account Managers as well as cross-functionally with other departments such as Risk, Supply, and Finance to diagnose errors/drops/issues, and remedy the issues in a timely manner.
  • Assist with the LDC/utility enrollment policies and procedures as well as pricing and regulatory background for each Utility in which LVT Sales is active.
  • Sales deal review for completeness and accuracy
  • Confirm sales transaction with the customer
  • Maintain customer master file data and contract database
  • Prepare and distribute management reports for margin and profitability
  • Prepare and report sales commissions for each sales account manager
  • Support management’s strategies with sales performance measuring, analysis and reports
  • Other duties as assigned
Other Responsibilities:
  • Participate in testing and validating new processes and reports
  • Measure results of processes and report such to appropriate entities
  • Responsible for contract administration, process measurement, and reporting
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Required Skills:
  • Capability to work independently and having excellent organization and communication skills
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Ease with managing multiple projects and competing priorities
  • Experience with SQL or other relational databases
  • Expert in Excel
  • Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or other reporting tools
Minimum Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 5 years of experience in a transaction processing, analytical, or operations role is required.
  • Utility experience preferred
