Sr Quality Technician Job Description
Sr Quality Technician Responsibilities:
- Perform standard and specialized incoming, in-process, and final inspection of manufacturer and supplier products
- Use of micrometers, calipers, scales, height gages, gage pins, gage blocks, surface comparators, multi-meters, balances, NDI, CMM, and universal test machines
- Initiate and track non-conformances through disposition and execution processes
- Prepare and present inspection and contractual documentation to customers and government representatives
- Prepare, submit, and maintain audits, reports, and data
- Interpret technical drawings, data, and requirements for inspections
- Monitor calibration programs and liaison for repair and replacement services
Sr Quality Technician Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree OR equivalent training/experience
- Minimum 6 years of experience
- Knowledge of defense contracting
- Must obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Security Clearance
- Ability to perform calculations and other requirements of data from drawings using mathematical equations
- Knowledge of AS9100 and ISO 9001 or equivalent quality management system
