Job Title : Senior Software Engineer
Location : Palo Alto, CA
Duration : Long Term

Responsibilities

· Build, test and release complex mission critical full-stack applications for internally and externally facing software.

· Design and implement backend code using AWS Services, NodeJS/Python Lambdas, DynamoDB NoSQL databases.

· Design and implement frontend code and algorithms using ReactJS/Typescript.

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including QA testing, technical product management and UI/UX design teams to define application features.

· To be part of DevOps activities (based on need) to release the application to multiple environments.

· Use automation as an opportunity to reduce roadblocks and achieve deliverables.

· Ensure good software architecture practices are followed across the team; actively contribute to code and design reviews; perform unit testing to deliver high quality software.

Basic Qualifications:

· 5+ years of professional experience as a fullstack software engineer developing custom solutions or applications.

· Bachelor degree in Engineering (Computer Science / Data Engineering / Data Science or equivalent practical experience / experience).

· Excellent JavaScript/ES6, React or other JS framework experience

· Excellent HTML5, SASS/LESS, Restful APIs, JSON, HTTP experience

· Proficiency in the following backend languages & technologies: Node.js, Python, GraphQL,

· Proficiency with cloud services: AWS Services, Lambdas, EC2, S3, API Gateway, CloudWatch, CloudFormation, AWS CDK, SNS/SQS, StepFunctions, EventBridge.

· Solid understanding of database technology like DynamoDB.

· Great understanding of caching, authentication, authorization, and privacy considerations.

· Unit testing and test-driven development experience.

· Systematic troubleshooting and root cause analysis experience.

· Knowledge of Agile Development of Accessible Software Tools.
