We are currently searching for a new, full-time member for our team for the position of:

Senior Software Engineer

Role Responsibilities

The Senior Software Engineer is responsible for the design and development of software applications; including, but not limited to, updating internal websites.

  • Develop new software applications as identified by supervisor and management
  • Develop and maintain iOS, Android and HTML5 mobile applications
  • Maintain and enhance existing integration of all applications
  • Conduct all user acceptances testing, and report results
  • Promptly answer support related email, phone calls and other electronic communications (rotating weekend on-call)
  • Other duties as assigned

Required Experience

  • Experience with PHP (OOP) on a LAMP stack (Linux, Apache, and MySQL)
  • Experience with JSON, XML, AJAX (Jquery preferred)
  • Experience integrating PHP with 3rd-party solutions (Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, etc.)
  • Experience with Objective C, Swift, iOS SDK, and iTunes Store Deployment
  • Experience with Java and Android SDK
  • A minimum of 4 years of professional experience
  • Self-motivated, able to juggle multiple projects at once
  • Candidate must be a team player and willing to teach and to learn
  • Excellent communication (oral and written), interpersonal, organizational, and presentation skills.
  • Able to work independently, demonstrate initiative, take direction and collaborate well with others.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience in Content Management Systems, Digital Asset Management Systems, and 3rd-party API integration is preferred.
  • Experience with Zend Framework and SCM (mercurial+trac)
  • Possess superior skills in web design utilizing HTML, CSS and JavaScript
  • Familiar with media metadata standards (ID3, EXIF, XMP, IPTC)


Skills, Education and/or Certifications Required

  • A minimum of 2 years of formal education in computer engineering or web development is required
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Defense (DoD) issued Common Access Card (CAC)
  • Residing in the Continental U.S.
  • U.S. Citizenship required - No Exceptions
